About Me
¡Hola! I’m Morena Maestra a Spanish teacher in Tallahassee, Fl. Originally from the historically beautiful Savannah, Ga. I received my bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University and in pursuit of my master's at Florida State University. While at VSU I studied abroad in Costa Rica at the ILISA World Language School. Since graduation I have been teaching the beautiful language to students young and old. I have more than 10 years of experience with the Spanish language. My mission as your Spanish tutor is to inspire my students to be accepting of the language and its beautiful culture.
My Spanish tutoring is designed to provide students with thorough grammar lessons, varied vocabulary, videos, games, and conversational reviews in order to sharpen language skills. Through dialogues and visual stimuli, students will engage in meaningful conversations and hands-on activities.
I have worked with over 150 Spanish students who are either currently taking a Spanish class or wanting to learn Spanish from the beginning.
